Throughout your visits with the mediator, your court documents will be completed and filed by our Legal Document Assistant – beginning with your divorce petition and concluding with your final judgment paperwork. Attention to detail makes Divorce Better an excellent choice for paperwork accuracy.

STEP 5: DIVORCE IS FINAL, YOUR FUTURE BEGINS

DIVORCE IS FINAL

Once we file your final “Judgment” paperwork, the court will take 6 to 8 weeks to process your case. Your divorce will be final no sooner than 6 months and 1 day from the day you or your spouse was served with process of the divorce petition. Once you receive your divorce decree from the court, your post-divorce life begins.
